Roe v Wade

Bloom-ED was deeply saddened by the news of Roe v Wade being overturned and the ripple effect this has had both in the US and worldwide, setting reproductive and sexual rights back about 50 years.

Bloom-ED primarily advocates for the provision of Comprehensive Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE). We support reproductive justice and the right to bodily autonomy for all.

Importantly, comprehensive RSE allows young people to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to navigate safer sex and prevent pregnancies. Good quality RSE should also include discussions around abortion so that young people can make informed choices and be aware of their sexual and reproductive rights.

We support everyones right to bodily autonomy and decision over what happens with their body. Now and always.
